So I have to admit that Spring really isn’t my favorite season….especially here in Michigan. Majority of the time we just have winter until April, a couple weeks of rain, 1 week of sunshine and flowers, then it’s summer. It’s usually gloomy, wet, the temperatures go from warm to freezing to back to warm….it’s just never been my favorite. However — I do have a go-to accessory I always look forward to this time of year: my faux leather jacket!
I found this jacket at Plato’s Closet when I went in to sell some clothes, and it has been one of my fav pieces the last couple of years. First of all - I definitely do NOT support any type of clothing, accessory, whatever that is made from real leather. This is definitely fake (pleather if you will) and I would never purchase real leather.
What I love about this little guy:
It’s the perfect weight for Spring when temperatures are constantly changing - light enough to throw on when it’s pretty warm, but holds it’s own on those chillier days
Room to layer - there’s definitely enough space here to pair with just a tank top if it’s a bright, sunny Spring day, or throw on that turtleneck or sweater when it’s kind of crummy out
I love the blue! You often see a black pleather jacket around, so this color really stood out to me, especially for the Spring season
It’s fashionable and can be worn with several outfits - whether you want to dress it up with a dress and some boots, keep it casual with some jeans, or even throw on over your workout clothes, it goes with everything and keeps you looking fashion forward
I would strongly suggest adding one of these to your Spring wardrobe if you haven’t already! I am not a super fashionista, and I guess these may be “so last year” or even “last yearS”, but I know they are durable - cute - sensible - timeless - and one of my favorite Spring looks :)
