This months Pet of the Month is the lovely chihuahua mix Sasha! Sasha is special because she is a rescue in Northern California, where all the horrific wildfires have been causing havoc for a long time now. To say several pets and animals have been effected by these fires is an understatement, and being able to give back in any way would be great!
I wanted to highlight Sasha, who is at the Northern California Animal Rescue, because not only is she adorable but she has come a long way since the rescue found her. Spending most of her life tied to a chain, starving and alone, she is now on a healthy track and feeling much happier — waiting for her forever home!
